I guess it's true what they say.......

Just a reminder of how it's done when the day starts too early to think.

I hate these modern looking coffee makers.   Would someone please invent a coffee maker that looks pretty and works contemporary but doesn't look modern?  I need a percolator on a timer I guess.

  2. I hate the look of today's coffee makers too...but I would curl up and cry if mine didn't work every morning like clockwork! Hugs-Diana

  4. I have one of those "modern" coffeemakers and I love the ease of it but what a GREAT idea, Tamra. To redesign a modern coffeemaker into something beautiful, more accessory than necessity. I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

  7. I agree! There is a market out there for one! There are new "vintage" stoves, tea pots, blenders, and toasters...why not coffee makers? And while we are on the subject...I know there is no such thing as "vintage microwaves" hence they didn't have them "way back when" but unless you have a retro kitchen or all chrome, they are ugly as hell too. Just a thought. :-) Love the silver tray - I completely ignored the coffee pot and went right to the tray...

  8. I am not a coffee drinker, but sure agree with you on those modern thangs! The hubbie is a serious coffee drinker, so we have a serious machine that offers a great espresso (from what I hear), but its looks are nothing to write home about.
